- Description
We are recruiting a Cloud Architect for a growing business in the Manchester area that is modernising its technology estate and moving key systems to the cloud.
You will own the cloud architecture: designing secure, scalable environments across AWS and Azure, setting standards, and guiding the engineers who build them.
What you will do
- Design and document target cloud architecture across AWS and/or Azure
- Lead migration planning for existing applications and infrastructure
- Set standards for security, identity, networking, resilience and cost control
- Work with engineering, security and business stakeholders to turn requirements into designs
- Guide and review the work of DevOps and platform engineers
